   ~ Micah 6:8

 

   These words have challenged me for many years. How grateful I am to have many godly Christians in my life that modeled these things as well as encouraged me to do and be those things. My grandparents and parents were my first examples. My pastors, elders, and deacons were next. Good friends followed. God blessed me with a godly wife who still is a

shining example to this day. All in all I am daily challenged to be all that God wants for me. Among the groups that have encouraged me so is Deo Cantamus. From its leadership, to  those on the board, as well as the individual members of the chorale, all model these truths and encourage me to continue in the faith. I am grateful to participate with Deo Cantamus in praising the God of all grace.

   O how I thank the LORD for His justice, kindness, and grace towards me. It is so much more than I could ever deserve or hope for. 

 

   God’s word has challenged me all of my Christian life. Somedays it seems that victory is easy and other days victory is impossible. Thankfully the victory is the LORD’s. Let us continue in our walk of faith and model what God requires to this world in which we live.
