    I became acquainted with Deo Cantamus through my friendship with Al Hawkins

 
   Al shared with me his vision for believers from local churches to form a choral group. Sacred and classical music could be performed in a setting not otherwise provided by 
their individual churches.  As the Lord directed, Deo Cantamus became a reality and it has grown over the years to provide excellent concerts and programs that seek to glorify God through music.
 

   I as well as my wife Carol, have been blessed to participate in Deo Cantamus for over 10 years. It has been an enriching experience to participate with other musical colleagues in sharing great music. Deo Cantamus afforded us the opportunity to use our musical skills in a way that directs praise and worship to the Lord who alone is worthy of our praise. 

 

   "Shout for joy to God, all the earth; sing the glory of His name; give to Him glorious praise!" Psalm 66:1-2
