        "Singing and Making Melody" is an opportunity for students in grades 4-10 who like to sing and want to grow in their ability, but prefer an alternative to traditional private voice lessons. Each class will focus on healthy singing habits and musical literacy, in a fun and natural way. Click here to learn more about the goals and curriculum.

   Classes are 90 minutes long and are offered twice per month for a four-month semester, or weekly for two months. In addition, the semester will conclude with an open rehearsal/recital at the conclusion of the eighth session. Students must commit to a full semester (eight sessions) of participation. Classes range in size from a minimum of 10 to a maximum class size of 40 students.

   The introductory pre-registration cost for each student is $125.00 for the semester. The cost after that date is $150.00. In addition, students will need to purchase music and materials (approximate cost $20.00) as directed by the instructor, and possibly pay a transportation fee not to exceed $15.00. The need for a transportation fee will be determined based on travel distance for the instructor and enrollment size for the class. If there is a need, the amount required will be presented at the first class session. Families with two or more students involved will receive a discount of $10.00 per student.
